Father Christmas Pancakes

Using pancakes (homemade or bought we never judge) and some simple fruit you can create these amazing Santa pancakes. Perfect for Christmas day or just a day over the festive period. You could even use it as pudding for the family and they can put them together themselves.
Start by placing your pancake on the plate and then adding a banana beard. Saving two banana slices to add for eyes along with 1 blueberry, halved. Using any red fruit, we chose strawberries, add his hat shape and his nose. Finish his hat with a snowy squirt of cream and don’t forget his bobble too.

This was a big hit in our house as we all love ‘dippy eggs’ and pigs in blankets. Just a good excuse to have more! This particular egg cup was purchased from B&M a couple of years ago but I’ve seen lots both on and offline this year too.
Banana Snowmen Kebabs
This is such a simple idea but my toddler, in particular, loved these. Banana snowmen on sticks or on a plate. They are so easy to make, look fantastic and get the kids eating more fruit. Winning! You could also add a small amount of icing sugar for a super festive feel.

Start by slicing your bananas making sure they are about an inch or two thick. You can make your snowmen as tall as you like with more banana slices. Cut raisins to make buttons and facial features it is that simple.
