What did we acheive in 2019 and what’s in store for 2020?
Fresh Starts and New Beginnings
Wow, my beauties it’s been a hot minute!!! We have so much to talk about and I’m not sure where to start if I’m honest. It’s been a long while since I posted and although I have mentioned in previous posts that 2019 would be a slow-paced year for me. However, here we are in #2020 and the New Year has got me feeling motivated and ready for a fresh start and new beginnings.

Blog Goals for #2020
Blog wise 2019 ended up being a little bit of a washout. I’m a little disappointed in myself that I wasn’t able to give it as much time and effort as it needed. The time and effort I wanted to give it anyway. Mainly due to being pregnant and exhausted and then having a newborn and being exhausted. For that reason, I have tried to not be too hard on myself and just enjoy the time with my boys.
2019?
Looking back to lasts years goals and aims for 2019. I wanted to have better organisation for my blog posts and social media posts……….ermmmm no comment? (Hahaha) As I said that goal was 100% not achieved but I have put a much better plan in place for #2020. There will be posts, a minimum of once per day on each of my social media accounts. I will also be back to my 2 posts a week Monday and Thursday at 1pm. This is something I have already started working on so that I can really be on schedule and nail 2020 in Tahnee’s Blog. I’ve also put together a few ideas list that I can use if I’m finding I’m having a creative block.

I also feel my schedule has a lot better variety in it than previous years and I have also really looked at what I am posting and the value taken from it. This has led me to be more specific with my posts and hopefully, they have a little more for you guys to take away with you. For one example looking at skincare for over 30s, as that is now my age bracket, and I am finding the need to adjust my own skincare.
2020 Blog Posts
The other aim I had for 2019 was to post more beauty post and again guys I failed. Being pregnant made my skin and hair just awful and felt no want to glam up very often!
Focusing on sharing a but more I have put in place some great products to try and test for #2020. I am also working on my photography as beauty pictures are HARRRRD.

There will also be more posts with specific audiences in mind. With more info for you guys to take away from them. Trying new skin cares, makeup, bath products you name it!
My final blog aim of 2019 was to get better with my photography. Now for me, this is something that is always improving and isn’t always a problem with my technical skills. I need a new camera. A decent camera and with no money to purchase one at the moment. My photography is a little stumped. I do however need to work on having better lighting. I also need to start editing my pictures to better quality and that is what I will focus on for #2020.
Blog Goals for #2020
This year’s blog aims are sweet and simple really. The goals are made of three main aims. One is to post more regularly. Which I have gotten on top of by organising and making sure my schedule is ready. Two is to post more regularly on my social media. Which again is mostly staying organised and taking advantage of everyday opportunities more. My final aim is to provide you guys with more helpful posts. Beauty tricks, parenting hacks and more. Again, this is about staying organised but also being more self-critical.
As I said my blog aims for 2020 are very modest but will hopefully have a really positive impact on my little blog site.
Life Aims
As some of you may know 2019 was a busy year as we welcomed our 3rd and final baby. This meant we had to prep the house and be ready for him. I’m glad to report we absolutely nailed that. We ended up redecorating our entire house. Made sure we had all his bits and bobs that he needs. So yeah we smashed that goal and also it made the transition so much easier. Going from 2 children to 3 is a mad difference and now I really don’t get a spare minute for myself. I hate how much worse that would have been had we not put so much preparation into his arrival.

My other personal aim for 2019 was to get married. Now although I’m still not a Mrs yet. We did book the day!!! So we’re officially getting married in July 2020! Now we have our date set we can really press on with that which I’m so glad about. My partner and I have been engaged for about 7 or 8 years. We never wanted a long engagement but life sure for in the way. Now we are focused and will end next year as a married couple. I’m so excited and it means there will probably be a few wedding posts to look forward to.

Life Goals #2020
Again, my life goals for 2020 are very modest and simple. We have the wedding to plan obviously so that is the first main priority we have to focus on. This is time and patient really as well as a hundred lists so we don’t forget anything.
We NEED to move as our small two bed is no way big enough for all 5 of us. We are all squashed and living on top of one another. It’s making everyone that extra argumentative. We have very little space for all the baby items we need to fit in. So, yeah, a squash is putting it mildly.
My final personal aim for 2020 is to get out of the house more. I was pregnant during 2018 and having a new baby for most of 2019. I have got into the habit if rarely leaving the house. 2020 I will be getting outside more and spending more time with family and friends.
Looking Back
Looking back on 2019 and taking a little look at what I wanted to achieve and what I did I feel pretty proud. I put most of my effort into my family this year and I’m grateful I did. It meant the blog was a little lacking but as I said I’m organised and ready for 2020. What were your goals for 2019 did you achieve all you wanted?
If you struggle to keep track of your New Year goals and aims I made this handy printout you can check out. It’s a print off to help you keep focused on your goals and the actions you can implement to make those goals a reality.
What are your goals or aims for 2020? Do you even bother with News years resolutions or goals and aims? If not why? I like to feel I gained something from my year. That’s why I keep my goals modest. Let me know in the comments below or over on my Facebook.
Lots of Love,
Tahnee xxx
