Pinstripe Trousers are an Essential Fashion Must Have

Loves the sun is on the way! Who else is thrilled? I felt I have missed a few opportunities to share cute outfits with you so today we are coming in hot. Bringing you fashion in the shape of pinstripe trousers. Why should you own some? How should you style them? Don’t worry we got you, hun.

Since the 50’s pinstripes have stood firmly as a fashion favourite. It easy to see why though. Casual or smart pinstripes can do it all especially a good pair of pinstripe trousers.

With all the gorgeous weather we have had, I feel like I’ve missed opportunities to share some great outfits with you. Today that is changing and I am sharing these really stylish, unique and eye-catching pinstripe trousers. These were £5 from ‘Everything 5 pounds’ which is beyond value for money really. They are also really nice thick material so not lacking in quality either. Light and airy enough for the summer.

The baggy crotch area with large pockets gives it a real 90’s trendy vibe. Which as we know is still huge right now. However, it isn’t from the neon side of 90’s. Great if you are loving the shape of the 90’s fashion but don’t want bright yellow and neon pink.

Tailored on the leg for a closer fit and turned ankles to finish the casual tailored look. This with the pinstripe on the trouser really makes your legs appear longer. Smart but completely casual if you want them to be. Going from meetings to the club in a quick change of top!

How To Style Your Pinstripe Trousers

I paired them with a white bandeau for a casual family barbecue look. I also added a white pair of brogue style shoes with some gorgeous detailing. If you changed the bandeau for nice tucked in a camisole and a well-tailored jacket this could be a cute office look.

That’s the best thing about pinstripes trouser though? The come back round on trend year after year. Usually in a slightly different style or colour but they always do come back around. Also, as stated above, they are such a versatile trouser that you should have at least one flattering pair in your wardrobe.

Do be careful though as ill-fitting pinstripes can be very unflattering. The best way to tell is to see how the trousers fall on your crotch area. If the lines a wobbly instead of straight then try the next size up. I would also suggest grabbing a pair in the navy as they flatter most skin tones far better than black. It brings warm tones to your skin instead of the starkness of black.

However, do invest in some as I can guarantee they’ll become one of your favourite items and be grabbing for them for such a variety of occasions. Plus they never go out of fashion so a staple in your wardrobe for years to come. If you pick the right cut for your body shape.
