Faux Fur – Outfit of The Week

With 2018 in full motion here on the blog, we are focusing on fashion. I am also hoping to inspire some of you to step out of your comfort zone. Whilst motivating myself out of chucking on anything as long as it’s clean. After all, if I can do it you can! Now, it has still been chilly here in the UK and why not make full use of it. My beautiful Mum got me this awesome, faux fur, body warmer for Christmas. I am just in Love and had to style it straight away!

So here is how you could style it for a super simple but fresh look. Perfect for running errands and staying warm too!

Starting with a light pair of skinny jeans. I find that they sit much better with boots and they’re my addiction, so it makes sense. I wanted light blue to almost reflecting the frost and chill we’ve had in the air.

Then a gorgeous forest green bodysuit. There are a couple of reasons for this one is that a have become a tucker. Yes, my dears since having babies I’m not one for crop tops and the like. I’m not saying you can’t if you’re a mum but I just am not comfortable. This is why I love bodysuits. No ridding up and they keep me covered. Plus I am loving a long sleeve for layering and the colour selection is huge. I can’t see them going anywhere anytime soon that’s for sure.

Then, of course, some trusty boots! Now coming from Wiltshire, the land of cows and sheep, boots are just a must. These are my to the knee winter boot that I will wear day to day. Black, so they will go with any outfit and flat so they’re comfortable. I also love a good buckle or strap detail on a boot.

Finally, we have the bodywarmer and I am in love with it. The warm brown tones and the faux suede panelling is just gorgeous. I also like that the fur isn’t too long so you’re not constantly pulling it out of your mouth….and your eyes……and the rest of your face (lol).

Makeup, I went for this cute, bold red and orange sunset eye. Then a nice nude, matte lip. I am loving this whole look to finish out Chrimbo. The reds and the greens blended to create a simple everyday look.
