So as 2017 draws to its close and a bright 2018 is in the wings. I always like to take this time to look back at my year. None of the new year new me bull crap though. I am who I am and I won’t change just improve!
New Year New Me, New Skills
Of course, the start of the year is always a time for self-reflection but more importantly, we use it to better ourselves. That’s right New Year’s resolutions. Mine from last year were improvements to my skills as a blogger. Although I feel I have a LONG way to go I have worked really hard this year on improving my blog and my skills. My photography skills needed work (ongoing as always) and I feel I have improved in this area.
Giving it Away
I also wanted to sort more giveaways for you lovelies and I’ve been able to deliver on that. Fashion blogs were a little lacking this year but I have a good schedule in place to rectify that for 2018.
2018
So what are my aims for 2018? Well, I’ll share them now in hopes it can help others to better themselves throughout 2018.
As I said above I will continue to work on the photography for my blog. Bringing you better quality pictures of the products I’m using. Plus I think a little photography project might help so keep your eyes peeled for that.
As I said above I have organised my blog posts much better for 2018 and am upping the number to 4 post a week!! That’s right my loves Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays!! So, there will be plenty of new content for you to enjoy.
I will also continue to work on the visual of my blog site. It recently had a large format change but I still need to tweak the final details. So there may be slight site changes this year also.
I also intend (intend being the important word) to run one monthly giveaway per month. I know how much my readers love a good giveaway and I like to deliver. So again be sure to check back for those or follow my Social Media.
However, my main aim is and always will be the same. To bring you great products, life hacks, beauty hacks, crafts and general Tahnee’s Blog goodness.
A huge thank you to all of you who have supported me and Tahnee’s Blog through 2017. Your support means so much to me that I lack the words to explain how grateful I am. I also can not thank you enough so I find ways through my blogging to do so!

Congrats Tahnee on a great 2017. I love the new change of your blog’s layout. Looks much cleaner. I also want my photography skills to improve in 2018. I’m really working on that. In fact my dad got me a new more portable tripod – yay! So many goals for 2018. Let’s grow together. Happy New Year.
I’m also one of those people that aren’t going to really change but definitely want to focus on improving! I love your goal to improve in photography because I have that one as well! My husband bought me a lighting studio kit for Christmas and I can’t wait to use it!
Wow very ambitious and amazing goals for 2018. I am really impressed that you are going to post 4x a week in particular. I’ve never been able to find time to post more than 2x a week, but I know that it’s amazing for keeping readers engaged and driving traffic to your site. I hope you can have a blast working on your photography skills as well. I’m a bit scared of our DSLR, but my boyfriend pushes me to practise with it, and it’s surprisingly fun.
