Blue Eyes?
What Eyeshadow?
Hello my loves and how are you all? I have a great secret eyeshadow trick to share with you all today though and it’s about bright coloured eyeshadow. Today is blue eyeshadow. I will be posting three blogs that will demonstrate great eyeshadow colours for all colour types.
A lot of people are afraid or unsure where to even start when it comes to coloured eye shadow. This post is here to help! The secret you need to remember is to match your eyes! It is that simple and the way your eyes will pop after will just blow you away. I roped my blue-eyed bestie. Kerry, into helping me with this blue eyeshadow look. I’m sure you’ll agree she looks sensational.
Beautiful Baby Blues

So I started off by adding a layer of non-liquid concealer to the eyelid. Now, you won’t believe the difference it will make to the pigment colour and how visible the colour is. Starting this look by using the ‘Sea Foam’ shade from my MUA ‘Solstice’ palette. This is light blue shade and it was applied this all over the lid. The slight sparkle it has is everything!

After this, I added this gorgeous dark blue ‘Midnight’ from the MUA ‘Winter Forest’ palette. The darker section should be in the eye crease and at the outer edges is perfect. Finally, adding just a tiny little bit of this greeny/blue colour. ‘Aqua’ from the same palette, on the join of the light and dark blue. Blended out just so the two tones of blue would blend a little better.
When it comes to blending just gently rub the brush along the hard lines in circular motions. That they’re instead soft and ‘blended out’.

Eyeliner
Eyeliner was an easy choice as it’s fun to go big on a look like this. Kerry has some thin winged eyeliner but we went quite far out with it. For the bottom waterline, it had to be a white liner. Just to make the colour pop even better and also lighten the eyes. Making them appear wider.
Mascara
For mascara, I used this great new one I got from Maybelline New York, ‘Big Eyes’. The reason I love this mascara so much is for the lower lash brush as it is just perfect. For eyelashes ‘Eye Define’ waterproof mascara. The brush is so good and gets right to lash line. Really maximises the volume of lashes whilst being waterproof!

Look how blue the eyes are!! The perfect way to help really make the most of your eye colour and really make them stand out.
