Makeup In 10 Minutes

Natural everyday Make-up in 10 Minutes

Hello, my loves and how are you all today? As most of you know I started my blog as a way to work on myself and thought if there are people in the same boat it may help them. With this in mind, I have worked out a little makeup in 10 minutes routine. A makeup routine that you can literally chuck on. Whether you’re a busy mum on the school run, like a more natural look or are just running late for work, school, college etc.
This bright, fresh and super easy look is exactly what you need.

I started with a clean dry and moisturised face which is very important to protect your skin and prevent more spots.
I then went in with my Barry M colour correct primer. Now, this has been a lifesaver for me. you can see the green colour and this is going to get rid of any red patches on your face. Really good coverage with this as well and gets into all those pores and sadly/gladly for my wrinkles.

After this I applied my colour correct concealer. Click the link if you need help with this or if you don’t know what it is. It’s going to change your makeup game!

I then applied my foundation. Now I like a matte foundation and have used the MUA Matte one. I find this is a great day foundation as it’s light on your face. Gives great coverage as long as you’re not constantly touching your face all day. Also so reasonably priced so a great buy.

After my foundation I only added a little extra concealer under my eyes and some Barry M blush to my cheeks for colour. I have to cover my black bags a lot (lol).
I set all this with a translucent powder and fixing spray.

Eyes

For eyes I actually decided not to add eyeshadow and applied white eyeliner on my bottom waterline, adding extra to the inner corner of the eye. This makes your eyes POP AND I mean pop!! I am going to write a blog soon showing the difference between white and black eyeliner so you can see the difference. For those who don’t own one, you NEED one and MUA pencils start at just £1.
Next, I added one coat of mascara and allowed it to dry before brushing them through. Then I applied a second coat and brushed through them again.

Lips

Lastly, I applied a little of my ‘Fawn Fancy’ lipstick which, you guessed it, is MUA for only £1. So a natural, nude lipstick and I love the warmth it brings but with those natural shades. It’s also a matte lipstick so stays on longer than most.

I stuck my hair up in a messy bun to stick to the ‘quick get out the house’ routine and I was done. I really liked the fresh look this gave me and the bright eyes.

Like I said this genuinely only took about 10 minutes and about 15 with eyebrows included (for me anyway). So know I can still look fresh and nice on the school run without having to take my whole morning!

I hope this is something that might help you if you’re needing a faster routine or don’t have one. Now you can feel gorgeous in next to no time. Don’t forget to come and follow my social media pages where I regularly share my makeup looks.

Lots of Love,

  1. You should come to my house every morning and do MY make up!! Most of the days I just put moisturizer on and nothing else. When I feel more feminine I’ll go with a simple bb cream and mascara. I’m lazy.

    1. so simple and pretty! Also we’re not lazy we’re busy 😉 lol xxxx

  2. Quicker the better, most times make up is time-consuming, this is good. 🙂
