Sharing all my favourites from makeup to beauty and home decor
Hello my lovelies and welcome to my August Favourites focusing on favourites in the beauty buys. I know it’s a few days late but had to share the DIY Pot for your beauty products, still impressed with those cute crafts. I hope you are well and everybody is either settled or settling well back to a normal routine or very near to it any. I also owe an apology as there was no Monday blog! I am so sorry but between getting my eldest back to school, my youngest off to nursery, errands and appointments I was out until 3pm and etc etc. I am really sorry though.
Summer is, sadly, nearly over and with that in mind I am rounding up on my favourite items and products from the month of August.
MUA Solstice Eyeshadow Palette
This is most definitely one of my favourites products this month for a number of reason.
The colour pigment is just so good and vibrant. The metallics are stunning and they really are metallic not just glittery. They are such a blendable formula which is really smooth. It also has really good staying power when combined with the Mua Pro-Base Mattify Fixing Mist. The price!!! This palette was only £4…..FOUR POUND!! I still can’t get over the affordability and quality of their products! Plus the colours are going to blend seamlessly into Autumn. You can also find swatches for this Here.
So I bought this from my local Factory Shop for £1……I mean you just can’t go wrong can you!! I decided I needed one after the hairdresser used one my hair and I was sold!! Since using it I have notice my hair is softer and much smoother. Less frizz, with less split ends, and the obvious bonus of being lovely to brush your hair with!! Absolutely thrilled with this purchase and will never be without one again!! I couldn’t find this for £1 but it is still only £2 at boohoo.com.
So I ordered some Ardell lashes from Boots and I am so glad I did!! I decided to try the Demi Wispies and they are so lovely. I am fortunate enough to have pretty long lashes but these just thicken them out for me and I can even wear them day to day which is nice. They’re also really light which is makes them easy to wear. The band is also really thin and easily hidden! Absolute steal for under a fiver and 100% on the August favourites list.
Black Onyx By Dolce Donna
So a few years ago my mother in-law brought me a bottle of this perfume back from Germany and I loved it. The only problem is I was unable to find another bottle….any where!! I however stumbled by one on Amazon and ordered one immediately. Such a luxurious smell and although not overly expensive it has an expensive scent!
Zoella Body Cream
So I really love this cream! It smells like blinking macaroons!!!!!!! I don’t feel like it needs any more justification than that! However I will also add that although it is a thick cream it’s absorbency is great and leaves your skin soft and smelling like macaroons. Non greasy and did I mention…..it smells like macaroons (so yummy).
Really excited about her new Christmas range as well!!!
So my lovelies that is all from the August favourites. Are these any of your favs? Let me know over on my Social Media pages and I will see next time with another blog.
Lots of Love
